I'm thrilled to be announcing a coming event which has everyone in the office very excited: 2016 will see the launch of the Cloud Hosting Awards, our very own industry event designed to celebrate and reward the companies, products, and projects that show off the very best of the sector. It's still early days, so we aren't yet in a position to confirm a date, venue or even a hashtag to share with colleagues - but as soon as we know, you'll know!
Cloud Hosting itself is now into its third successful year of publication, and feedback from readers and advertisers suggests that there is a definite gap in the market for an awards event of this nature. The awards themselves will cover a variety of categories from technology to projects, as well as recognising individuals who have made a significant contribution to the industry, and will be won on the basis of either public online votes or on the combined marks of our expert panel of industry specialists. We are already speaking to some of the best known names and most experienced experts in their fields, to put together a judging panel that will properly reflect the integrity and lasting value of these awards. If you'd like to put yourself or a colleague forward as a potential judge, drop me a line at the address below.
