Welcome to our November e-Newsletter, coming hot on the heels of last month's DM Awards 2014, which was our biggest and best night yet. We focus on some of the big winners in this newsletter (see below), and for the full breakdown - including video of many of the winners for the first time - visit the Awards website, www.dmawards.com. Elsewhere we continue to cover a huge breadth of ECM/DM-related topics: our case studies range from a very specific application at the Royal Schools of Music in examination marking, to a large scanning/BPO operation at Crimson.
Our feature and opinion content covers topics for all interests as well, as on one hand EASY Software's Howard Frear suggests the EDI industry needs to take a leaf out of Jane Austen's book (no pun intended), while Consultant Paediatrican Tom Williams offers a fascinating insight to the technology demands involved in mapping the growth of a child. We also feature an exclusive interview with Jennifer van Lent of DICOM, giving an unprecedented glimpse into the business following the merger with Spigraph that has created an ECM giant. Plenty here to keep our readers entertained as the winter nights begin to draw in, I'm sure you'll all agree!
