If you're used to dealing with paper this might seem a daunting proposition, but Fujitsu is here to help

Comment

Welcome to the June edition of the Document Manager eNewsletter, which includes in its news section a summary of award winners from the recent IRMS Annual Conference in South Wales, at which I was delighted to be a guest. There can be little doubt that the worlds of document/content management and records management are overlapping more and more all the time, so it was no surprise to hear many themes at the conference that are also common topics in DM magazine: compliance, automation/AI, cloud and of course digital transformation were everywhere.

It was also interesting to see how many of the vendors/exhibitors at the event were ‘DM stalwarts’, from scanner manufacturers to software specialists and consultants. The conference itself is very well-attended and many delegates have been involved for ten years or more, so the IRMS is clearly doing something right - if noone in your organisation is currently a member, I’d recommend them as an industry body with a lot to offer.
