Welcome to the April 2015 Newsletter.

We've had a great few weeks of networking since the last issue of the newsletter! The winners of the ninth Network Computing Awards were announced on March 19th at the Hotel Russell in London, presented by former England cricket captain, Chris Cowdrey, and Comedian and after dinner speaker, Ian Irving. They were joined on stage by Network Computing's Editor, Ray Smyth, who judged the "Bench Tested Product" and "Network Project of the Year" categories.

Newcomers to the awards, Suse, made a massive impact at the 2015 awards by winning the Storage Product of the Year and Product of the Year awards. Another first time winner was ExaGrid, who picked up the newly-introduced "Return On Investment Award." NTS also won their first Network Computing gong as they were voted "Reseller of the Year."

The number of new winners this year demonstrated just how hard it is for champions to retain their crowns. So cabling supplier, Excel, and distributor, Wick Hill, deserve a special mention for continuing their incredible winning streaks. The presentation ceremony ended with celebrations for WatchGuard. Having already won the Hardware Product of the Year award, the security vendor picked up the final award of the night for becoming the Company of the Year.

We'll be featuring the 2015 winners in this and future newsletters and there's a full list of winners and runners-up, along with video highlights from the ceremony, available here. We'd like to thank everyone involved in this year's awards - from the readers who took the time to vote in record numbers online through to our sponsors and all of our winners and runners-up - for making it such a successful event.
