Comment
This issue of our e-Newsletter includes rare interviews with some of the industry's biggest brands, namely Quantum and Toshiba. Only Storage magazine is able to get this close to the giants of the sector and find out what their strategies are for the future - strategies that will doubtless impact in one way or another on most, if not all, of our readers. As Toshiba's Nick Spittle comments: "We're all putting our data somewhere: increasingly in the consumer space users aren't actually sure exactly where that is! But many end users still have concerns with cloud storage regarding security. Businesses though will continue to drive cloud adoption: cloud storage providers and data centres containing masses of solid state and rotating Enterprise products."
Whether you agree or not with what companies like Toshiba and Quantum have to say, I'm sure you'll find their views interesting reading. Before I sign off, let me remind you to visit the Storage Awards website (www.storage-awards.com) if you haven't already, to nominate the products and companies you think deserve to win one of our prestigious trophies. Nominations close April 2nd, so don't leave it too late!
