Welcome to our July 2016 e-newsletter.
Last month saw the 13th annual Storage Awards take place at London’s Grand Connaught Rooms – unlucky thirteen for some I suppose (i.e. those who didn’t win), but it has to be said that overall it was a winning night for everyone present. Hundreds of you turned out (in some fairly atrocious weather, it has to be said) in your finest glad-rags to celebrate the achievements of our industry’s brightest and best. By the time I got back to my hotel room in my rain-sodden tuxedo, I must have congratulated a couple of dozen winners – some of whom were still remarkably sober!
Even the ongoing twin dramas of Euro ’16 matches and the Brexit referendum build-up couldn’t diminish the positive atmosphere as host Chris Cowdrey steered us through an evening of trophies, fine dining and not-so-fine dancing. Congratulations once again to all our winners and runners-up, and we look forward to seeing you in even greater numbers at next year’s awards.
