Welcome to the June eNewsletter from Storage magazine, where the big news is that the extra-special 20th anniversary Storage Awards went off with a bang in London just a few days ago. We were very lucky that the event took place just before the current heatwave started in earnest, or there would have been a lot of very uncomfortable men in tuxedos melting onto the dancefloor!

As always, I'd like to give a huge thanks to all the event sponsors, without whom the awards simply wouldn't happen: Epaton, ExaGrid, NGS, Arcserve, Barracuda, Boston, CMS, HPE, Hornetsecurity, Infinidat, Lenovo, Logicalis, NetApp, NexStor, Pure, Quantum, StorPool, Titan, Veritas, ZaveIT, Cameo, CS, Gentronics, M2M, Seagate, Spectra Logic, TMT, Tintri, and Virtual Effect.

It was our biggest and best-attended awards night so far with almost 300 in attendance, and among the big winners were HPE (Storage Company of the Year) and Veeam (Storage Product of the Year), while both Veritas and Pure Storage were new inductees to the Storage Hall of Fame.

We sincerely hope that all of our attendees enjoyed the night as much as we at Storage did, and we are already looking forward to next year, when the Storage Awards get the key of the door!
